Since 1991, MOMA has raised over $130,000 in scholarship funds that have been awarded to more than 140 deserving students to help pay for their college tuition. The support is need- and merit-based and the recipients are the college-ready children of those in our industry who would like a college education. Studies show that middle-income families take on the most debt when paying for their children's college education and the MOMA scholarship program is designed to help defray some of the cost. The funds that students receive can be used for books, tuition, or room and board.
MOMA is proud to offer these opportunities to students each year! A fundraiser is held at the annual tournament where we host nearly 3,000 pool and dart players from around the state for 4 days. Through random raffle ticket drawings, we raised scholarship money which is awarded to children of MOMA members' companies or participants in leagues.
